Description
The Large Grant Program is administered through the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. It supports operating needs, specific community projects and capital improvements that advance locally identified priorities in Coös County and surrounding communities. The Fund’s place-based approach aims to improve quality of life, strengthen community and economic development, and protect healthy rural landscapes.
Funding priorities span four connected areas: Well-being for All, Thriving Workforce, Healthy Environment and Resilient Communities. Supported work includes essential services and systems of care, workforce housing and childcare, climate mitigation and natural-resource stewardship, and initiatives that build belonging, civic engagement and community capacity. The Fund emphasizes community leadership, equity and meaningful partnerships, including participation by people historically excluded from decision-making.
