Description
The Timothy M. George Fellowship Award, sponsored by the American Syringomyelia & Chiari Alliance Project (ASAP), provides funding for clinical, translational, or basic science research on syringomyelia, Chiari malformation, and related disorders. The fellowship is intended to foster innovation and support early-career investigators, including medical students, neurosurgical residents, and neurosurgeons. Awardees spend 6 to 12 months under the guidance of a mentor, conducting research that advances understanding and treatment of these complex neurological conditions.
