Description
The Tire Incentive Program (TIP), administered by California's Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle), is designed to increase the demand for tire-derived products (TDPs) by providing financial incentives to eligible manufacturers. The program promotes the use of crumb rubber and devulcanized rubber derived from California-generated waste tires in a wide array of products. TIP encourages both the development of new products and the conversion of existing products that currently use virgin materials to incorporate recycled tire rubber, thereby supporting California’s waste reduction and recycling goals.
