Description
Established by Teresa Koster, this American College Health Foundation award supports student health centers and their staff in developing creative solutions to barriers to quality health care for students. Projects may investigate students’ health care needs and perspectives or their understanding and appropriate use of available services.
The award also supports stronger care-delivery methods, including community and public health strategies for populations at risk. Other areas of interest are technology that connects service delivery with education about appropriate use and improved health status, and new strategies that help students obtain needed care.
