Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Tobacco Age of Sale Enforcement (TASE) Program supports routine compliance inspections of tobacco retail establishments. The inspections check whether retailers follow the state law prohibiting sales of tobacco products to anyone under 21.
The program focuses enforcement in select New Jersey counties with a disproportionately high burden of tobacco use.
