Description
The New Jersey Department of Health’s Office of Tobacco Control and Prevention administers this program to expand and enhance evidence-based New Jersey Tobacco Quit Centers statewide. Funding also supports efforts to increase tobacco awareness and promote cessation services for eligible tobacco users.
The program builds on evidence-based tobacco control work in New Jersey. Its focus includes environmental and health systems strategies, health communication, and community mobilization and linkages. Together, these activities aim to strengthen quit-center services and connect people who use tobacco with support to stop using it.
