Description
This Horizon Europe Innovation Action funds projects advancing the commercialization of microbiome-based solutions to enhance the resilience, sustainability, and competitiveness of food systems in the EU. The call seeks to overcome market, production, and business model barriers, supporting the development, scaling, and market access of innovative microbiome products and technologies. Projects must engage a diverse set of stakeholders (including researchers, SMEs, startups, industry, public authorities, and consumer associations) to co-develop, test, validate, and adopt these solutions. The initiative aligns with EU strategies on biotechnology, bioeconomy, biodiversity, climate, and digital transition.
