Description
The Town of Granby Grant supports nonprofit programs and services located in Granby or serving Granby residents. Offered through the Grand Foundation, the program supports arts and culture, education, environment, health and human services, and sports and recreation, including amateur sports. The Town makes funding decisions, with grants management support provided by the Grand Foundation.
Funding focuses on specific projects and programs with measurable results, such as evidence of productivity, sustainability, lasting impact, or changes in numbers. Collaborative requests from agencies are encouraged. Operational funding requests are also considered, but the Town does not generally provide sustaining support through multiyear commitments. The program supports work that has not already been completed rather than retrospective funding for finished projects or previously purchased items.
