Description
The Traditional Arts Apprenticeships program, offered annually by the Idaho Commission on the Arts, is designed to help preserve Idaho’s cultural heritage by supporting partnerships between master traditional artists (mentors) and dedicated apprentices. The grant funds learning partnerships that focus on the transmission of traditional art forms within Idaho communities, ensuring these skills and practices are passed to future generations. Eligible apprenticeships may include, but are not limited to, folk, craft, music, dance, and other traditional arts rooted in a shared cultural heritage.
