Description
The "Trainees First" program, offered by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) in collaboration with the Association of Program Directors in Interventional Radiology (APDIR), provides residents the opportunity to participate in the review of abstract submissions for the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting. This initiative is designed to enhance residents’ skills in critical evaluation and abstract review, while fostering mentorship and collaboration between residents and their program directors. Participating programs receive formal recognition on SIR and APDIR websites and in the official meeting supplement, helping to promote a culture of inclusion and professional growth within the field of interventional radiology.
