The Transatlantic Media Fellowship program, offered by the Heinrich Boll Foundation, supports journalists in producing well-researched stories that explore transatlantic policy issues. Fellows may conduct on-the-ground or virtual reporting in areas such as digital policy, foreign and security policy, climate and environmental policy, democracy, and global development. The program aims to foster diverse voices in media, promote investigative journalism, and facilitate cross-border understanding of key policy challenges. Fellows are expected to publish their work in quality media outlets and on the Foundation’s website, and to engage with the Foundation’s social media platforms during their fellowship.
