The Transdisciplinary Connector Grants program at the University of Calgary funds initiatives that foster new or deepen existing collaborations among scholars, trainees, and external partners to address complex societal questions requiring a transdisciplinary approach. The program is structured in two streams:
Projects should transcend disciplinary boundaries, integrate diverse perspectives (including non-academic partners), and focus on societally relevant problems. All supported activities must demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). At least two scholars from diverse backgrounds are required per team, and all teams must submit a report on outcomes and impact at the end of the grant.
