Description
The Dravet Syndrome Foundation's Transformational Science Grants are designed to support established, independent investigators at research or academic institutions who are pursuing high-impact projects with substantial preliminary data and direct relevance to Dravet syndrome. These grants aim to fund ambitious, hypothesis-driven research that can significantly advance scientific understanding or clinical management of Dravet syndrome. Priority is given to studies that address mechanisms of disease, development of new models, cellular and genetic underpinnings, causes and interventions for seizures and comorbidities, as well as novel treatments or strategies to prevent or halt disease progression. Projects must align with DSF’s mission and yearly priority areas.
