Description
The Transformational Science Grants from the Dravet Syndrome Foundation (DSF) are the foundation's largest awards, designed to catalyze breakthroughs in Dravet syndrome research. These grants support established, independent investigators at academic or research institutions for projects with substantial preliminary data and hypotheses directly relevant to Dravet syndrome. Funded research should address critical scientific or clinical questions, such as disease mechanisms, novel models or interventions, causes and prevention of seizures and comorbidities, or SUDEP. Proposals must demonstrate the potential for significant impact on the field or clinical care and align with DSF’s mission and annual priority research areas.
