Description
This Horizon Europe grant aims to advance the green transition of neighbourhoods by refining and demonstrating co-governance approaches that foster public participation and collaboration among diverse local actors. Projects must address urban, peri-urban, and rural contexts in at least ten neighbourhoods across three or more EU Member States or Associated Countries. The initiative emphasizes inclusivity, legitimacy, transparency, and accountability in decision-making, empowering vulnerable groups, leveraging digital technologies, and integrating cultural actors and informal knowledge systems. The ultimate goal is to generate evidence-based guidance and recommendations for policymakers and neighbourhood actors to support sustainable, inclusive, and nature-positive transformations at local, national, and EU levels.
