TransformRAK: Research for Tangible Impact is the Al Qasimi Foundation’s competitive program for applied, interdisciplinary research addressing public policy priorities in Ras Al Khaimah and the wider United Arab Emirates. It welcomes individuals and organizations worldwide, with projects focused on education, public health, urban development, or closely related social science questions. Funded work must connect research with practical, evidence-based benefits for communities and policymakers.
Seed Grants support early experimentation, including testing prototypes, exploring data gaps, and piloting interventions. Acceleration Grants expand successful pilots and deepen their policy reach. Across both streams, the Foundation emphasizes sustainability, local research capacity, and collaboration with community, government, academic, and business partners. Recipients communicate findings through accessible policy publications, applied research reports, and Research Majlis presentations.
