The Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic’s Rochester, Minnesota campus is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program designed to provide in-depth clinical and laboratory training across all aspects of transfusion medicine and blood banking. Fellows gain “vein-to-vein” experience, including donor recruitment, advanced serology, blood component production, cellular therapy, therapeutic and donor apheresis, histocompatibility testing, infectious disease testing, and clinical consultation.
