Description
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) administers this competitive grant program, established under Wisconsin’s 2017 Act 59. It supports evidence-based practices that help students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) move from high school into competitive work and post-secondary education.
Projects may address transportation to transition opportunities, competitive integrated employment training, post-secondary tuition and student supports, or transition training for staff. DPI has awarded grants to districts and charter schools across Wisconsin, including all 12 cooperative educational service agency regions. The program is intended to help schools develop services and opportunities that improve students’ outcomes after high school.
