Description
This advanced training elective provides pathology residents with a unique, four-week, hands-on experience at Ventana Medical Systems’ headquarters in Tucson, Arizona. The program immerses participants in the research and development of novel histopathology-based diagnostic assays, offering exposure to innovation in scientific and clinical affairs, digital pathology, instrumentation, tissue sample management, and more. Under the mentorship of senior director Shalini Singh, MD, FCAP, awardees gain direct insight into the translational process from scientific discovery to validated diagnostic tools, preparing them to advance both their own careers and the field of pathology.
