Description
The program funds research projects at North Carolina universities and nonprofit research institutions to advance university-held life sciences inventions toward commercialization. Supported projects are expected to generate critical data, address product development or regulatory milestones, de-risk the technology for licensing or investment, and facilitate strategic decisions regarding further development or IP protection. The program emphasizes milestone-driven, team-based research and encourages collaborations among university researchers, product development professionals, and other stakeholders.
