Description
The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) intends to renew and publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to promote translational and clinical research focused on pregnant women, lactating women, infants, children, and adolescents. The initiative aims to:
- Advance precision medicine through novel tools, models, and technologies.
- Discover and develop new therapeutics or enhance existing drugs for safer and more effective use.
- Improve patient-provider communications about drug effectiveness and safety.
- Optimize the dissemination, implementation, and scale-up of evidence-based interventions for these populations.
