Description
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) administers this federally funded, competitive program through its Local Government Coordination Office. It supports community-based projects that connect modes of travel and improve the cultural, historic, or environmental qualities of transportation infrastructure. Every project must have a clear link to surface transportation.
Eligible activities range from pedestrian and bicycle facilities and safer routes for non-drivers to trails, scenic overlooks, historic transportation facilities, and roadside environmental work. Wyoming’s stated priorities include Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades and transition plans, safe routes for non-drivers, and pedestrian and bicycle facilities.
