    Description

The European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) offers travel grants to help early-career participants attend its meetings and workshops. Annual meeting grants support students and trainees presenting their work through oral or poster presentations. Funding contributes to registration, travel and accommodation rather than a separate research project. Applications are assessed on abstract quality and the availability of funds.

ESCV also offers international grants to encourage membership and attendance from developing countries outside Europe, giving individual consideration to higher travel expenses. A separate travel-grant scheme supports members attending the European Congenital CMV Initiative (ECCI) meeting, which promotes collaborative research and discussion of evidence, research gaps, and prevention and intervention priorities for congenital CMV. Workshop grants follow rules published in separate announcements.
