The Traveling Fellowship supports members of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) in fostering professional interaction, knowledge exchange, and networking within the field of alimentary tract surgery. The selected fellow will visit a university-affiliated or academic surgical practice of their choice in the United States or Canada for a period of 6 to 10 days. The experience is designed to broaden the fellow’s exposure to diverse academic environments and surgical practices, with support from the SSAT Education Committee to ensure alignment with professional objectives.
