    Description

The Tri-Alliance Grant Honoring ASHT Founders is funded jointly by the American Hand Therapy Foundation (AHTF), the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), and the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. It supports impactful research that advances the clinical practice of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, with proposals accepted in any domain of hand therapy.

The program supports all levels of experimental quantitative research, including systematic reviews, as well as qualitative research. Randomized or experimental studies may use quantitative, mixed-methods, or qualitative designs. Applications should ideally address AHTF’s current research priorities, and AHTF verifies the appropriateness of proposed research. The foundation’s broader mission is to improve patient outcomes by promoting evidence-based practice through clinical and scientific research and education.
