Description
This forecasted opportunity aims to help federally-recognized Tribes, Tribal colleges or universities, Tribal health programs, Tribal organizations, or consortia of these entities to establish or enhance their own Institutional Review Boards (IRBs). The program is designed to build capacity and infrastructure for biomedical research involving human participants within Tribal communities, expanding local IRB review and oversight capabilities. Only eligible organizations will be invited to apply, and applications will undergo NIH’s standard peer-review process.
