    Description

The Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation, administered through the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley (CFMV), supports general operations and specific programs or projects that improve the health and well-being of all Trumbull County residents. Its 2026–2028 priorities follow the Mahoning-Trumbull Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), with an emphasis on equitable health outcomes and the different barriers experienced across populations and communities.

Funding focuses on access to health care, community safety, behavioral health, chronic disease, and maternal, infant, and child health. Dedicated funds also address cancer patients’ and families’ needs, hospice services and education, diabetes care and prevention, and orthopedic care and patient support. The Foundation considers both what organizations do and how they work, favoring clearly defined outcomes, leadership by people with direct experience, cross-sector partnerships, and efforts addressing underlying social and economic challenges.
