The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) funds construction and infrastructure improvements that help Oklahomans exercise and incorporate physical activity into daily life. This opportunity supports small- to medium-sized projects in parks and open spaces, safe routes to schools, grocery stores or parks, and PreK–12 school environments. Examples include trails, sidewalks, playgrounds, adaptive recreation equipment, refurbished sports spaces, lighting, and pedestrian safety improvements.
Construction Implementation is separate from the program’s Planning and Design opportunity and does not fund planning or design elements. TSET seeks immediate, impactful, time-limited projects aligned with its mission and strategic plan, supported by multiple partners and community input. New or improved spaces should be safe and accessible for children, older adults, people with disabilities, and other community members.
