    Description

The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET) funds planning and design projects that improve places where Oklahomans can be physically active. This opportunity is part of its Built Environment Grant: Physical Activity program, which separates planning and design from construction implementation. Supported work includes feasibility studies, master plans, streetscape designs, trails, pedestrian safety, complete streets, wayfinding, safe routes and school-based physical activity projects. Construction is not eligible under this opportunity.

TSET seeks time-limited, place-based projects that identify immediate opportunities to improve health, align with its mission and strategic plan, and involve multiple partners. Plans should encourage physical activity and create safe, accessible public spaces for children, older adults and people with disabilities. Community involvement, locally supported need and participation in external evaluation are central requirements.
