Description
The Thoracic Surgery Foundation, Francis Fontan Fund, and LACES offer this fellowship for senior cardiothoracic surgery residents and early career cardiothoracic surgeons. It supports international travel to a host institution in Europe or North America to address gaps in a fellow’s knowledge or abilities and learn from established cardiothoracic care.
Applicants shape the educational content and length of the 4–10-week placement with their host surgeon. The fellowship aims to strengthen their skills and build collaborative relationships that advance cardiothoracic surgery at their home institution in South America.
