TU Darmstadt runs this scholarship through the European Commission-funded GreenChips-EDU project to develop expertise in sustainable semiconductor technologies. It supports students contributing to eco-friendly chip design, energy-efficient manufacturing, and materials innovation. The programme promotes international cooperation and academia-industry collaboration in electronics and microelectronics.
Support covers domestic and international mobility at universities, research organisations, and industrial sites, including professional training and internships. Students can seek assistance with study fees, specialised courses, mobility documentation, travel and living costs, Master’s thesis activities, and scientific outputs aligned with GreenChips-EDU topics. TU Darmstadt selects recipients and pays scholarships directly, in its own name and under its own responsibility.
