Description
This program enables early-career researchers from sub-Saharan African countries across all disciplines to spend three months at a German research institution. The initiative, a collaboration between The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and the German Research Foundation (DFG), aims to foster scientific collaboration, support knowledge exchange, and build long-term research links between African and German scientists. The host institution in Germany provides infrastructure and organizational support to the visiting researcher, while the DFG funds travel, living expenses, and project costs.
