    Description

Texas Woman’s University’s Teaching and Research Grant for Equipment and Technology (TARGET) supports acquisition of equipment essential to faculty research. Administered by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), the program addresses the rising cost and rapid evolution of equipment that can be difficult to obtain through external funding mechanisms. Access to this equipment can enable preliminary research needed to compete for external support.

TARGET emphasizes equipment beyond resources normally provided by academic components, colleges, or other university funds. Shared use and faculty collaboration are encouraged, including equipment serving multiple investigators or programs. Research equipment that also enhances the scholarship of teaching and learning receives favorable consideration.
