Description
The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Grant supports graduate student research in clean energy at Canadian universities. Established in memory of Tyler G. P. Lewis, the program funds alternative energy and applied sustainability research while developing research skills and helping train qualified individuals. Clean energy includes energy sources and processes that offer alternatives to fossil fuels with minimal, neutral, or beneficial environmental consequences.
The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation and Charitable Gift Funds Canada Foundation conduct selection and post-award administration. The program supports master’s and doctoral research with the potential to advance knowledge in clean energy. Projects must last at least one full year, and funding directly supports the recipient’s research project.
