This program is designed to foster and support groundbreaking interdisciplinary collaborations between faculty at UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco. By bridging the biomedical, physical, and engineering fields, the program aims to catalyze innovative research that leverages the complementary strengths of both institutions. Each year, one faculty member is awarded funding to collaborate with a partner at the other campus, alternating between the two institutions to promote cross-campus integration and the convergence of diverse scientific communities.
