This internal grant program, administered by the UF/IFAS Office of the Dean for Research, is designed to fund innovative research projects that address critical issues facing Florida’s nursery and landscaping industry. Projects may supplement ongoing Experiment Station research and should focus on industry-relevant challenges such as environmental management, pest control, production systems, genetics and breeding, technology implementation, and improving Floridians’ quality of life. The program encourages proposals on any topic that would benefit the industry, not just those aligned with stated priority areas.
