Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports independent research, teaching, combined teaching and research, and professional or artistic projects emphasizing Ukraine. All disciplines are welcome, and projects need not fall within Ukrainian studies. The central focus is remote engagement with colleagues in Ukraine or direct engagement with Ukrainian citizens displaced abroad by war. Applicants must explain why their selected European host country is appropriate and how the location connects to Ukraine.
Supported activities include undergraduate and graduate teaching, student advising and mentoring, faculty and curriculum development, and research designed by the applicant or host institution. Affiliations may include higher education institutions, governments, nonprofit organizations, and think tanks. Alongside the primary project, scholars may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, and engage with host communities to strengthen international understanding and cooperation.
