Description
The Ukrainian Studies Hub within Notre Dame’s Nanovic Institute for European Studies supports research connected to Ukraine and Ukrainian Studies. The program aims to deepen Notre Dame’s links to Ukraine, particularly Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU), and strengthen its contribution to academic research in Ukrainian Studies. Projects are expected to serve Notre Dame’s commitment to Ukraine and its partnership with UCU, producing academic outputs, especially publications and joint events.
The grant welcomes proposals across disciplines and interdisciplinary projects. Selection priorities include research on normative questions: religious and moral aspects, attention to the peripheries and the most vulnerable, integral human development, resilience and recovery, and challenges of justice and peace. Proposals jointly developed with UCU faculty receive priority. Selection is competitive and conducted in consultation with UCU leadership.
