Description
This opportunity, supported by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) in partnership with the European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU), provides researchers, startups, SMEs, industry, and public sector organizations with access to EuroHPC supercomputers. The program is designed to advance artificial intelligence (AI), data-intensive research, and quantum technology projects, with a particular focus on foundation models and generative AI, such as large language models. Rather than providing direct financial support, the program awards allocations of compute time on cutting-edge European supercomputing infrastructure.
Access is available through several modes, including specialized calls for AI and quantum technologies, as well as general research computing. Calls are open continuously, with monthly cut-off dates, enabling rapid and ongoing opportunities for applicants.
