The UKRI Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAAs) at the University of Cambridge are strategic awards designed to accelerate the translation of research into real-world impact. The IAAs support a broad range of activities including entrepreneurship, commercialisation, technology transfer, business engagement, policy partnerships, social and cultural impact, and public engagement with research. Funding is available for collaborative projects with non-academic partners, early-stage impact initiatives, and activities that foster knowledge exchange and capacity building among researchers. The program aims to foster an entrepreneurial culture and build sustained partnerships with external organisations.
