Key Information: Only applicants invited after a successful stage one application may apply.
This opportunity supports academically-led translational research projects focused on developing and testing novel therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, and other medical interventions at any stage of the development pathway—from prototype development, through pre-clinical refinement, to early-phase clinical studies (up to phase 2a). The goal is to improve prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment of significant health needs, or to develop research tools that enhance the efficiency of developing interventions. The scheme encourages collaboration with charities or industry partners and is open to international project co-leads. Projects must be invited to apply following a successful stage one application.
