    Description

UN Women South Sudan seeks a Responsible Party for Component 1 of the African Development Bank’s PSDFC Additional Financing programme. The partnership moves established youth- and women-led enterprises beyond start-up support toward sustainable, productive and market-linked growth. Activities cover Wau in Western Bahr el Ghazal and Yambio and Nzara in Western Equatoria, drawing beneficiaries from the 300 micro and small enterprises established during Phase I.

The work combines savings-group transition into savings and credit cooperatives, institutional strengthening, enterprise diagnostics, business advisory services, financial training and buyer–seller matchmaking. It aims to improve business capabilities, institutional readiness, market access and preparedness for financing, while integrating gender-responsive, conflict-sensitive and Do No Harm approaches.
