The American Academy of Neurology’s Undergraduate Education Subcommittee offers this prize to recognize early achievement and promote neurology as a specialty. It honors graduating medical students whose institution’s faculty and residents identify as having promising career potential in adult or child neurology, alongside demonstrated interest in and dedication to the field.
The prize is an honor rather than funding for a research study or project. Up to two graduating students per institution may be recognized: one entering Adult Neurology and one entering Child Neurology. The Academy’s recognition is additional to, and separate from, any neurology award given to graduates locally or by their institution.
