The Undergraduate Recognition Awards, presented by the Biochemical Society, honor exceptional undergraduate students studying biochemistry or molecular bioscience. These awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement, which may include academic excellence, extra-curricular activities, project work, or mentoring contributions. Recipients receive a certificate and can choose between a year of free Biochemical Society membership (plus a £50 discount toward a training course or event) or a £50 cash prize. Winners may also be invited to further engage with the Society’s activities.
