Description
The Unforeseen Needs Grant, managed by the Blue Mountain Community Foundation (BMCF) through the Clara & Art Bald & Mary Garner Esary Trusts, is designed to deliver rapid, emergency financial support to nonprofit organizations, churches, and public agencies located in Umatilla, Walla Walla, Garfield, and Columbia counties. The grant targets organizations facing sudden, unexpected crises that threaten their ability to operate or deliver essential community services. It does not support routine operational shortfalls, unsuccessful fundraising efforts, or anticipated funding gaps—except in cases where such issues result in immediate operational disruption and the applicant has a credible plan for long-term stability.
