Description
The Variety KC Ten Parks Project, administered by the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, aims to create a regional network of fully inclusive playgrounds throughout Greater Kansas City. The initiative seeks to ensure that no family in the region is more than ten miles from an accessible play space, fostering activity, belonging, and social engagement for children of all abilities. The playgrounds will be designed according to Universal Design principles and shaped by insights from individuals with disabilities and their families.
