Description
Union County Community Foundation is a community fund of East Tennessee Foundation supporting opportunities to advance and improve the quality of life of Union County residents. Established as a project of Leadership Union County Class of 2010, the fund provides a resource for achieving community goals and promoting the county.
Its focus encompasses innovative projects and programs that contribute significantly to local health and welfare while using Union County’s unique assets. Past applicants have proposed work benefiting families, women, and children; educational and cultural opportunities; and community or economic development, historic preservation, and environmental enhancement. The fund also recognizes projects that build an organization’s capacity and leadership so it can carry out its mission more effectively.
