Description
United Arts of Central Florida manages the OCPS Arts in Education Fund in partnership with Orange County Public Schools. OCPS receives an annual County funding pool to allocate to local partner programs serving K–12 students across the district. The program supports field trips and in-school arts enrichment that connect closely with classroom curriculum, develop students’ critical thinking skills, and help educators build on classroom instruction. Eligible providers include qualifying nonprofit organizations and teaching artists employed through artistic organizations.
United Arts has managed this funding stream for more than two decades. Partners submit new proposals annually, and OCPS district leaders decide which programs receive allocations. The opportunity operates as a contract for services, with approved partners responsible for program delivery, evaluations, invoicing, and reporting throughout the academic year.
