Description
United Arts of Central Florida’s Individual Artist Awards provide competitive support to practicing professional artists and practitioners across disciplines, including historians and scientists. Applicants seek funding either for a specific project or for supplies and professional development that strengthen their practice. Supported activities include creating and presenting work, documentation, training, workshops, and classes related to an artistic practice or arts business growth.
The program aims to foster creativity, career development, and community impact. Awards must promote excellence and merit while expanding access to innovative arts, culture, history, or science experiences. Duke Energy, a program supporter, is interested in work addressing environmental sustainability, but that focus is not required.
