Description
Unity Foundation of La Porte County offers Power for Good Community Grants annually to support projects and programs that directly serve the county or its residents. The grants are intended to strengthen local quality of life, particularly by addressing needs not adequately served by existing resources, meeting one-time needs, attracting other funds or community resources, and fostering cooperation among organizations and communities.
The foundation’s Grant Making Committee encourages innovative approaches, creative community development, diversity, and problem solving, while also considering recurring projects. It looks for established needs, achievable results, collaboration, multiple impacts, and work that fits the foundation’s interests and geography.
