Description
The Faculty Opportunity Awards (FOA) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas provide internal seed funding to support innovative research, scholarly, or creative projects by UNLV faculty. The primary objective is to catalyze projects that will lead to competitive proposals for external funding from federal agencies, foundations, or industry partners. The program supports both individual and collaborative team projects across all disciplines, including STEM, health, humanities, arts, and interdisciplinary areas. Awardees are expected to use the funding to generate preliminary data, develop new research directions, or build capacity for future grant submissions.
